A New Motivational Story: New World Champion “Sindhu”

Pusarla Venkata Sindhu won the Badminton World Championship 2019, this was her 5th international award. Before this, she has won 2 bronze and 2 successive silver medals.

My analyses start from that day when Sindhu had won the silver medal in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. That day she became the first woman to win a silver medal in any Olympic event. After that, she entered into many finals of international events but she lost all the finals.

World champion Sindhu could be Satisfied but her ignition to fight to get the top spot in the tournament, consistently keep pushing her. Here is the list of some matches of her, 2013: Copenhagen-bronze, 2014 Guangzhou-Bronze, 2017 Nanjing-Silver, 2018 Glasgow-Silver.

being a sensation in world badminton she keeps her very down to earth and always focused on her practice. She worked very hard on her training under the legendary coach GopiChand. she was very determined to achieve the zenith of her game. finally on 25 August 2019 at Basel her hard work paid off and she defeated the Japanese counterpart Nozomi Okuhara in straight games by 21-7, 21-7.

World Champion Sindhu again proved that sacrifice, determination, hard work, and perseverance always pay. She is now a role model for many women.

Her success will now ignite the fight for women empowerment that women are not less than one in the patriarchal society of India. On Twitter now race has begun to who first wish her, That is her persistence and focus on the game. Sagaraga wishes her best of luck and also proud on her for such a world champion title.
